Basketball Play of the Week
Multi-Screen Out-Of-Bounds Play
From a box set, 5 screens across for 3. 3 receives the entry pass from 1. 3 starts dribbling out high and looks for 1 coming off a triple screen set by 5, 2 and 4. If open, 3 passes to 1. But, this is usually just a decoy to set up the actual play.
5 and 4 screen for 2. 2 splits the screens and receives a pass from 3 for an open three-pointer. If 2 can't get off a shot, 4 or 5 fades to the back-side block where a basic 3-2 motion (2 post motion) offense begins.
