Kevin Hoffman Hired As Associate Editor In Team Sports Division: 01-03-11

Lessiter Publications recently named Kevin Hoffman associate editor in its Team Sports Division, continuing efforts to improve and expand coverage for thousands of athletes and leaders in the sports industry.

The associate editor job is a new position in the Team Sports Division. Hoffman will be responsible for helping Editor-in-Chief Mike Austin provide coverage for Coach and Athletic Director, The Real AAU Basketball and Winning Hoops. His primary responsibility is overseeing production of The Real AAU Basketball, which is printed four times annually and reaches more than 37, 000 coaches throughout the nation.

Hoffman also will help expand social media efforts, providing readers with more information than ever before.

“I look forward to playing a key role with the Team Sports Division, taking what already are successful publications and helping them evolve into something bigger, Hoffman said. This is an exciting time for us and for the thousands of readers who look to us for valuable information that will help them achieve their goals.”

Hoffman graduated with a bachelor’s degree in print journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. He spent two years reporting in the NFL and covering two NCAA Division I programs. His experience with social networks and developing relationships with leaders in the sports industry is a significant step toward expanding the reach of all three publications.
