Lucias Mitchell Dies

Lucias Mitchell, who led Kentucky State to three straight NAIA titles (1970-72) and won National Coach of the Year awards in 1970 and 1971, died Wednesday at the age of 74. Mitchell also was the first African-American elected as an officer of the National Association of Basketball Coaches.
