UNC men’s basketball coach Roy Williams spoke at a Power Lunch at the Wilmington Convention Center Monday.

From beach life to surgery, Williams spoke about a number of different issues.

The lunch was part of the Business Journal’s Power Breakfast Series. Williams said he plans to coach six to ten more years, as long as he is healthy.

Williams is the owner of two NCAA championships and has the best winning percentage of any active coach. Last season, he led Carolina to the NCAA Elite 8 for the sixth time in nine seasons in Chapel Hill.

Williams answered a question from a person in the crowd regarding the future for former Hoggard guard Stilman White.

White put Wilmington on the map after getting a good amount of playing time as a freshman at UNCW. White is now starting a new chapter of his life and is going on a Mormon mission that is expected to last about two years.

Williams said he hopes White will come back to play when he returns from his mission if he is eligible.
